This meeting is a platform to explore the economic value of recreational cycling in Manawatū and encourage discussion about what would be required to build momentum across the region.

Guest panellist: Peter Wells – Horizons & MMBC
Our objective is to identify the partnerships, conditions, and early actions needed to move from discussion to action. The intended outcome is to strengthen a shared understanding of this opportunity and build support for practical steps to galvanise action. While identifying key people to form a ‘spear head’ group to drive recreational cycling forward across the Manawatu.
The 2026 AGM will also be held after the discussion.
